Community guidelines
Last updated 19 September 2026. You agree to these in the app before your first post or comment.
The feed is for riding: rides, routes, bikes, the road, the people you ride with. Keep it that, and keep it decent.
1. Post riding content
Rides, days of riding, routes, photos from the road, your bike. Not adverts, not things for sale, not politics or religion, not chain messages. Businesses that want to reach riders can write to us instead.
2. Be decent to people
No harassment, threats, insults, slurs, or piling on. Disagree about tyres, oil and lines all you like; not about people. Impersonating another rider, a club or a brand is not allowed.
3. Respect privacy
Do not post other people's number plates, faces, homes or workplaces without asking them. Use privacy zones and the share range on your own rides so your home is not on the map. Never post someone's phone number or address.
4. Dangerous riding is not content
Wheelies, stunts and racing on public roads, filming at speed, riding without a helmet, riding drunk: posts that show or celebrate these are removed. Repeat posts get the account removed. We ride too; we do not want to read about you in the news.
5. Nothing illegal
No stolen bikes or parts, no forged documents, no sexual content, nothing that breaks the law where you are or in Malaysia. Illegal content is removed and may be reported to the authorities.
6. Report, do not fight
Every post, comment and profile has Report. Reports are private: the person reported is not told who reported them. Three reports from different riders hide a post until a moderator has looked. Moderators aim to act within a day. You can also block a rider; neither of you then sees the other's posts, comments or profile.
What happens when a rule is broken
- A post or comment is hidden or removed. Removing a post removes its photos.
- Repeated or serious breaches: the account is removed, along with everything it posted.
- Decisions are made by human moderators. If you think one was wrong, write to support@selekoh.app.
Who sees what you post
Posts are visible to signed-in Selekoh riders: people who follow you, and anyone browsing the week's popular posts. A post shows the line after your privacy zones and share range, the distance, moving time and climb, your display name and avatar, the date (never the time of day), your caption and photos, and, if you choose, your bike's make and model. Photos are stripped of location and camera data before upload. You can hide or delete a post at any time; deleting removes its likes and comments too. See the privacy policy for the rest.
